I have a truly incredible 6139-6005 with the most impeccable 6139-6009T Dial you will have the opportunity to grab in all of 2016. Trust me.
Dial has the red ring. No black. Just red. And gorgeous. Zero marks or mars or scratches or imperfections. Incredible, really. And all original.
Keeps great time, no issues at all. I show the TimeGrapher dial down while I worked on it. Incredible performance, though low amplitude - hey it's old. Good in all positions. Good power reserve. Winds perfectly with movement. Uber clean movement.
Original hand set, good lume on hands moved to tan/beige but not dark and fantastic, original sweep and subdial red hands. Crystal is near perfect though under a loupe you can see miniscule edge nicks. Original yellow rotating ring, original tachy bezel, no major nicks or dents or scratches anywhere on the case or case back. New VTA pusher gaskets and AM flat gasket for case back.
Original dimpled crown, of course the original stem/gear/spring/crown, case back spring on movement holder ring, etc etc etc. Real deal all the way.
Quick set day and date are perfect. Ring rotates easily. Day and date change over at midnight as they should. Perfect alignment of date and day.
Comes on an OEM tapered bracelet (yes I know, May '73 with tapered - supposedly introduced in '74 - maybe it got switched before I got it??) with EastTech end links (thanks Shawn!) since the originals were bent and detracted from the perfection that this watch exudes.
Both pushers work perfectly. The sweep hand resets to 59.6 seconds, but I am hesitant to pull it and realign for fear of marring what is truly an absolutely perfect dial. Just move it manually to exactly zero if need be. Subdial hand resets to zero and switches over at exactly 0 seconds like it should.
This was my 'keeper gold Pogue" until I scored a Grail 1969 5SportsWater70Proof Gold Pogue. Now I need the funds to offset that one.
So, $300 USD shipped to the US with tracking, add actual cost for overseas. On ebay the pirhannas will eat this up and bid it way beyond that, but I want to make it an early preview to add to the WristSushi stable before we go to the masses.
You will not see this nice of a gold Resistant Pogue for the rest of 2016. Trust me.
Under CFL light:
PM if interested. Fewer than 25 posts on WristSushi do not bother to contact me, you will have to wait 'til the evilbay auction if it lasts.
Best,
Jon
