I've been wanting to do a bubbleboy mod for a while now, just not sure which model to put it on. If you'd got one, please post some pics here.

Dad, I had forgotten about that one. Glad to see it on the wrist.
It was nothing more than an empty case when I started building it, a oem dial would've been nice but was unavailable at the time of the project.
One thing that you should be aware of before you have the oem dial swapped in. The movement inside that case is a Seiko NH35 (SII Branded 4r35/36) it is a date wheel only movement. there is not a day wheel present under the dial. you can have your local guy add the day function, but he is going to need a few parts to complete the calender assembly. he will need a day wheel intermeadiate gear (they can be scavenged from any 7S26 movement) obviously he will also need a 7s26 day wheel as well
The parts are otherwise a drop in affair.
best Shawn

I'm still kicking myself for not buying that Desert Rat mod you put up for sale a while back, that may have been a wonderful candidate for a bubbleboy mod. Who bought it anyway, perhaps I can talk them out of it

Honestly , I forget where it went. Best recollection it was a member on WUS
Wouldn't be hard to replicate ... Just need a oem dial from a seiko SNX series watch. They pop up on the bay from time to time

I have two of them........... This first one was done by our very own Shawn and I LOVE it! 6309-7040 Bead Blasted with Marathon Navigator dial and hands and BB crystal! The second one is a Seiko SKXA 35 with Sword hands, wasp bezel insert and one of Jonathans BB2 crystals....................... I just cant say enough good things about the Bubble boys as they really make Dive watches POP as they should!

I have 2 of these incoming and one of them (or maybe both) will be using these bubble boys. May I ask where you got the bezel insert on the MilSub mod? Inserts for the SKX031 are hard to come by. Thanks!
