I think this is a 6309-7290 but I'm not sure. I thought it was a 7002 at first glance but noticed the day wheel. I always thought the 7002 was date only but I'm not 100% on that. Anyone know for sure ? Thanks.

Thank you Pete. Much appreciated. I've got my eye on it for the 6309 project as I'm not confident enough to rip into my 7049 yet & the seller is being very slow answering my question about the case-back number. So, as I'll be a bit of a late starter with the project, please be prepared for some extra questions ! Thanks again

So, as I'll be a bit of a late starter with the project, please be prepared for some extra questions ! Thanks again I wouldn't worry too much about the caseback numbers. Most of these watches have mismatched casebacks anyway. There is no rush; the project is being archived so that anyone can come along later and follow the 12 step program laugh1.gif And definitely ask lots of questions thunbsup.gif

No, I'm not in a real rush to find a project 6309 but I like the look of the dial on this one, it's not from the Philippines & cheap 704x's are impossible to find these days. Hopefully, I'll be frying your brain with multiple questions very soon.
