Received the SINN chrono TESTAF today from NY and was very satisfied with the trade of my 1992 Omega Moonwatch. The SINN is my first though I do have a German Tutima Mil chrono. TESTAF is a German pilot watch test standard created by a German group in 2012. SINN installed its AR (argon gas) capsule to reduce moisture preventing fogging of the crystal. The watch is rated 200m, not bad for a titanium chrono with a modified Valjioux 7750. Crystal and seethrough caseback are sapphire. Thickness is 17mm but hardly noticeable on my wrist. wrist dial shot by blingmeister, on Flickr In the kit was the ti bracelet with 2 hex keys for removing a link. watch on box by blingmeister, on Flickr

Hi Mirda. You seem to be in the know on these.
I have been eyeing a center post minute chrono from Sinn for some time now....
Currently 140 and EZM 10 are available. 142, 157, and the venerable EZM 1 have all aged quite well.

And they both are with SZ01 movement (SZ01 is movement based on Valjoux7750 developed by Sinn). Unofortunately Lemania5100 movement is no longer made. But you can find both 142 or 157 on second hand market, for about $2000,0 in decent condition. EZM1 is much more rare and much more expencive. And one more thing....if you plan to send the watch for a service to Sinn factory, be prepare to pay a lot (especially for Lemania movement) and to wait a lot....

That's a nice combo! Brings out the orange and black too. I'm in the market for a Sinn but can't make up my mind between the 556, 104 or any of the non-matte cased chronos. I've been at it for about a year now lol

I've been at it for about a year now lol yeah, I have looked at those too. I traded my Omega Moonwatch for the 103 ti TESTAF and find it just about perfect for me. When I saw the 104, I was hot for it but later it was not for me. It has the Sellita, I think, and that isn't bad. I am looking at used Tudor Subs and cannot see why they are more costly than the SINNs. The SINNs give more product for the buck IMO.

Finally! I have decided on which Sinn to get! Good thing the local Sinn AD had one and I could test drive it before finally deciding. Taken from last night... So which one is it?... I'll post when I get a decent wrist shot. Right now I'm rushing for a meeting!
