Just arrived from a Hong Kong online store, this is a micro company in Portugal which makes homages to known brands. A thread was started on WUS summer of 2015 and I bumped into the brand by chance. They made only one batch and all were sold out. In 2016 many were resold but I couldn't find one until I came across online the blue dial version, date and with the large triangle. This watch is in homage to the mil Omega SM300. Mvt. is the Miyota 9015, 41mm wide, quick release lug holes and presentation back. Crown screws in a full 2 turns. Price with shipping was close to $500usd, not bad since the original cost was slightly higher. The Nato it comes on is not bad but I will later install a leather strap. This one is a keeper. I just sold the used TUNA 300m which pays for the Borealis! by bond watch by blingmeister, on Flickr In low light the bezel and dial look blackish but in more light the dial appears more blue....rather interesting.... near window good by blingmeister, on Flickr

I'm a big fan of the SM300, this is probably the best homage I've seen, captures the style really well. I've been tempted to try and make a Seiko Mod version but i'm sure it wouldn't come out as well as this.

That's the first of those I've seen, Thian. I really like it. I got the Lew and Huey Commander 300, also an homage to the SM300. It is one of my favorites. NH35 powered. It was a WUS forum project watch with about 150 of us commenting on design.

I like the 9015. I have one with that inside. It's running about -6-8 sec/day so I'm satisfied.

I see on WatchRecon that the Borealis also comes in a no date version as well. A good looker Thian.

This is the main reason I traded the Omega moonwatch for the SINN. Coming across the Borealis blue dial date in Hong Kong, I didn't take long to buy it by curtain by blingmeister, on Flickr

Now only a few can be found on the used market. I was lucky I found a new one in a online store in Hong Kong, blue dial, large triangle and date. I had to pay $50 for customs tax but in the end I am quite happy to have it. I know it is a homage but something about it nears the original Omega SM300!
