Aloha , Whatever the case will be with it, I will proceed to finish it one way or another..... . OK folks the day has finally come close for me to receive one of my .... Watch Wantings. But I will have to find out all the information I can for it yet. I would really appreciate anyone that can help me with it. I need possibly some very clear good pictures of movements mainly and facts also about it and the movement. The main part is the movement and just what it is so I am seeking any information from whoever knows about it. I'll be looking for possibly a .... New Crystal an information to it. And also maybe a better Case Back if needed. Note: I was told it uses a ............ Valjoux 2452 Another recommendation was ...... ETA 2824 And another was a ...... 4007 17 Jewel Movement. Now : Well I think you have guessed just what is coming to me by now............ and Yes it is a " Alsta Superautomatic Nautoscaph " Old Divers Watch , but I don't know yet how it is or even if it is just a parts one, it was a gift from some one I got to know but did not mention about it. Aloha and thanks for any of the above information and it is appreciated greatly , Louis

Aloha Sir , Hi John and thanks for the reply. I think I am getting just a regular watch or what come in. I don't really know yet until I get the watch or parts of it. These cases are sort of different sizes I think. But I'll be satisfied with any one and go from there. I'll enjoy the challenge hopefully to do it. I don't think it is the Movie Jaw's Model, but I'll take it anyway. Louis It might look more like this I think. Or this one.

Louis, All those movements are different sizes. The 2452 is really another ETA calibre and it is the same size as the 2824. The 4007 is a movement from Felsa but is slightly larger. The three of them are good movements when in top shape.

Aloha Sir, Hi Pete and thanks for the reply. I have not got it yet but when it gets here I'll just have to make sure of the case size and just what it is. I was offered it so I just said sure if you want to part off it. Maybe a slow project but might be interesting as it goes along. Hey why not right Pete we do everything else ..... . thanks Pete and will post when it gets here, and it should be in a week or so. Pete will this one be expensive to do, reason I never have done watch's like this. Hope Movements can be gotten for extra parts or a working one would be great to have. Aloha Sir Louis

Aloha Sir Louis If it has one of the ETAs then parts should be easy, particularly in donors. The Felsa might be harder to come by but all of them should be easier than most vintage Seikos.

Aloha Sir, Pete I have to be real honest on all this. I don't know the differences between all of this tech terms like .... ETA's and so on. This is why I have to ask to be advised of just what it all means....... . Maybe I have to find a website with all this term's and all those nologie's ....... . Time in Hawaii is now ........... 4:44 P.M. ______________________________________________________________________________ Note: Pete from when I first started doing all this ...I always had a thought that......... ETA was a Eterna Watch Company Movement that was used to abbreviate the name ...... Eterna. I always thought it stood for the watch's Looks and Operational Ability , Technology , Durability , put into it like quality and so on. Might be wrong. Louis OK I think I found my answer and a little right on my thoughts. NOTE: www.gentlemansgazette.com/eta-watch-movement/
