There's a pair of Unicorn watches currently on the bay, over night they went from $10 to $104 - There is this widely held belief that Unicorn watches are made by Rolex - they were once, not after 1933. Folks who believe the myth buy common Swiss watches at greatly inflated prices for what they get.

Not sure about mine but I think it may not be. I don't know enough about them to be sure but yours looks like it could be old enough to be the "real deal" and it doesn't have ' "Incabloc" on the dial. A look at the doings would show if its Rolex or an AS movement.

Probably not if it has shock protection, nobody used it really till the 50's.

Hi. The Unicorn amphibian is a bloody good watch but not made by Rolex. The cases are marked RWAG and the scammers claim it stands for Rolex Watch AG. The cases are made by Rodi and Wienenberger AG a precision machinist from Pforzheim Germany. RWAG still trade today and have done since 1885. The movements I have seen are top quality ASchild and other parts seem to come from generic suppliers. It’s interesting that vendors of these watches continue with their false advertising after being made aware of the above facts. It appears there are a great number of them here in Australia the USA’s most valued ally in South East Asia. Cheers Phil
