What is the earliest you have Bertrand? I understand that the earliest possible caseback in theory would say Feb'69 but that the earliest most people have seen is March or April'69. Today Proof day ! I received my NOS 6139-6000 in box from 4 / 70.... But this one is another one from D / 69 . Love this early blu dial.

The earliest I have seen is JUANARY 1969 from a 6139-6010 N°910240 ( FROM NIKIDASI) if I remember or around. But for a 6139-6000 i have a JDM 92XXXX . Here the one I received today...

That is absolutely stunning. And is that a mock-up day/date wheel behind it? I've not seen one of those before. Was that in-store marketing or did it come with some of the early ones?
And a January 1969...? Wow! Didn't know that existed, that seems to change the view a tiny bit on the Seiko v Zenith v BBHH as to who was first with a column wheel chrono as it moves Seiko a little earlier from the general view (that I have read many times) that their earliest was Feb'69. That is very interesting, thanks for sharing that. I will need to do some more research now but I really must sleep!

The moke up show the possibility to have the choice between 2 languages and it was normally attached to the watch....

My earliest are a few Marches and an April. When I got my May 1969 near perfect gold dial Pogue I had just lost out on a Feb 1969 Gold that wasn't as nice. I had the lead with single digit seconds to go in the auction. So for the one I got I placed a nuclear bid and happily ended up saving many hundreds for a much nicer example so I guess it worked out in the end but I will say I pine for a Feb 1969 Pogue.

That's stunning. So rare to see a black one.

Golden Turdle. The strap looks a little goofy, buy it's extremely comfortable.

That's stunning. So rare to see a black one. They are around and seem to hold up better than the white/silver dials. there were three in a row on Yahoo a couple of months age including a NOS one! It went for silly many to a collector I assume
