Pretty interesting. Can someone post link to seller or pm me? Thx! They are out of stock at the moment. I'm waiting on news of when they will be available. The only info I've received is that they're at least a month or so out.

Hi,
anyone knows where to get a tube for a Seiko SBDX009? Seiko Japan will not help. They deliver no spare tubes only complete cases. Because the SBDX009 is limited to 500 pcs. they have no spare case and they leave me alone with this problem.
That is the difference to a Swiss company like OMEGA. Send in a 40 years old Speedy and they can do everything.

Maybe you could contact Rob at monsterwatches, I never dealt with him bit but from reputation he is very helpful. Last solution: get a triplock crown mod done. Hope you get it cleared.

Thanks for your reply.
Triplock made the watch no longer original. The original Crown is ok only the tube is threaded.
I have had a heavy mail traffic with Seiko JP, but they have no interests in helping customers.
At the moment i try to let Seiko Germany do the job. Watch is now away for 2 wekks and still no answer what to do.

I understand about triplock, to me it is the last chance. To me bettera triplock than a watch that cannot be worn anymore.
Let us know if Seiko Germany can do something. I had to deal with them and they were helpful so far.

I think the only difference is the inscription on the back.

Hm, first they don´t have any spare cases. It was a limited edition to 500 pcs made of titan. Mine has the number 250/500. This and the SBDX007 are the only Landmaster with automatic movement. It is the 8L35. Because the case is the same like the MM, only made of Titan and the movement is the same like the MM. I believe when Seiko really wants, they just can change the tube. The tube from the MM 3000 fits. So the watch can be worn only the crown turns for one round instead of 3 turns. Martin

Maybe one can take that. I have seen Seiko watches with built in threads for the crown. So very stupid.

SEIKO don't supply pendants (the case tube), they only sell a full case. I think you will either need to find a wrecked watch or "live with" the single turn only on the crown. SEIKO don't design the cases to have the tube replaced. People have done it before but they are not designed this way like many Swiss watch cases are designed (in the past, not really now). SEIKO have a typical Japanese mentality which is that they expect the product to work well for around 10-15 years then you replace it with a new product. You see this with their cars, despite many lasting longer. One of the reasons SEIKO's are cheap is that they don't hold on to 50 years of spare parts. This is one reason Swiss watches are several times higher in cost. Thanks for your reply. Triplock made the watch no longer original. The original Crown is ok only the tube is threaded.
