Does anyone have any info on how to establish the age of an older Vostok Amphibia? The newer models no longer show a serial number on the back, but the older ones do... (the back plate is on upside down😳) I wondered if the number sequence may relate to age, same as Seikos. Any info gratefully received 😀

Apparently the SN has no bearing on manufacture date, makes it harder for sure.

I recall reading somewhere that the serial numbers apparently stopped being stamped after the break-up of the USSR.

I did a quick search on google and the earliest reference to the Scuba Dude I could find was around 2009.
Can anyone find anything earlier?
I have 2 Scuba Dudes that I got last year. Interesting watches.

Pre 1991.
The CCCP dials finished then.
Beyond that, it's hard. I'm guessing late 80's. No older
