I must be bonkers, but this arrived the other week! That ones too nice to wear. Yep.....that's the conclusion I've arrived at too :-( The caseback sticker is still mostly intact and the bracelet, like the rest of the watch, is like new! It resides in the drawer and will likely be sold in the not too distant. I've gone off buying mint watches.......I never dare wear them!

The original GMT's have a classic look that differentiates them from the current offerings. New for 2013 is the Blue & Black Ceramic Bezel GMT, tried on one yesterday for the first time - very very nice.
I suggest you wear this beauty and not worry about the potential for a scratch, etc. Vintage Rolexes command about the same price whether TZ90 or TZ99.
Congratulations !

Yep, wear it! In the last two years I have learned to enjoy TODAY.. You can't take it with you to the other side. I finally enjoy my Submariner each day and each new 'scratch' is a memorie. I never thought I would sell my nos Seiko divers, well I did and I will only buy watches I will wear from now on.
Btw.. that GMT is sooooo beautiful a176 Enjoy it!

Currently wearing a 6309 daily and quite happy :-)

Have you bought it as an investment?

I know the feeling, but from the moment I decided to wear my Sub, it really is MY watch. Like you I can also enjoy my 6309´s thunbsup.gif Regarding the value.. Rolex = cash money, wherever you are in the world So wearing it doesn't damage the value. The only watches that are worth putting in a safe (if someone has them to make some money), are watches that are going out of production and still have all their stickers (back/sides/bracelet). If it allready has been worn a few times, just start enjoying it! My 4-liner says hi Ron

Have you bought it as an investment? I bought it because I always wanted one, not really thinking about what I'd do when I got it lol It's not really an investment piece though may well increase in value given enough decades! More a liability at the moment hehe

Have to say the GMT is a bit of a grail for me too, the 1675 specifically. Magnum PI was the guy that stirred my interest. It would have to be without doubt my daily wearer, with a Gshock on my other wrist to get an accurate time.
