I've loved the look of the watches using the 3u62 miyota movement but never wanted to pay the stupid price so I began to buy cheap non working examples. All three were less than £20 each. The only one that sort of works is the blue Sector. Time works but chrono is a bit random. The other two are dead. I should be able to make one good one but can't decide...... Any one I do rebuild will get a new sapphire crystal as they all are chipped and scratched. Which would you rebuild?

I'd start with the blue sector, seems the most promising..

I’d do the blue and then the gold, looks great and new to me so some research needed here!

I'd go with the first one.
Love the screw down / fake screw down pushers.
Plus you can lume or random customize paint how you choose the bezel indents.

Was going to just do black but now you've given me cause to rethink it. Hmmmm. Yeah the pushers are not screw down but the crown is IIRC

I’d do the blue and then the gold, looks great and new to me so some research needed here! There are loads that use this movement. Sector Breil Technos (usually only found in S.America) Fila (ultra rare) Lorenz America Cup Deep Blue (they bought up the remaining movements) Chris something or other And a few others I can't remember

Just got another yellow / black one. Not as good condition as the one I have but it is fully functional so will make two into one from the best bits. Attachments:

I'd put my vote in for one of the yellows. I always feel like yellow watches are such great eye catchers!

I would usually go for blue, but in this case I agree with sausageking - that yellow/ black is the most striking

Yeah, the black / yellow one coming from Italy will give up it's soul to revive the one I have. Just need s suitable strap as I realised my OEM one is missing the yellow insert panels.
