Stopped for some brekky on my way to one of our offices, and another small glass jam jar scored for cleaning parts in! To be honest I already have too many but can’t resist more. (Sound like a familiar pattern anyone?) Thanks to leffemonster for the heads up as I’ve just taken delivery of this brand new bracelet for this one to make it match my black one.

Someone came to enquire a) Can I have some of your breakfast? b) Why do you keep taking pictures of your wrist?

Last week I spotted a couple of early 70s Australian Army issue watches (possibly used in Vietnam) going for a good price. I've never had a mil-spec watch and I'm unlikely ever to own one of the "dirty dozen" so this seemed like a good opportunity to try a couple on. They arrived today. Hamilton Benrus Rather modest in size, so they're likely to be curios only.

Today I have my black cerakote SKX with trinity dial and sumo hands. Did you make the paracord strap? Would love to see the bottom clasp side. I've kicked around the idea of making one for myself.

This channel I follow shows how to make one. I've made keyrings and bracelets following his videos. youtu.be/AirFrmqLAtY

I did not make this strap. It just has a cheap black plastic two prong squeeze clasp. I have another one that uses a stainless steel 3 hole adjustable clasp. I prefer that stainless clasp. The paracord is really comfortable for wearing. I would upload a picture but I am back to floating around in the ocean so limit internet.
I used hikepro.net/PARACORD/ultimatesurvivalbands.html they are reasonably priced and custom fit for your wrist size and the lug to lug on the watch. I do plan on trying to make my own in the near future though.

Very interesting.

Bit of a beater 6306-7000 August 1976. Hard to capture how the bezel has begun that fade to blue. GL831 strap. Lots of patina here.

Some clients are in the office today so today is "business casual" (AKA "exactly what I normally wear except instead of tan jeans I actually wear real khakis, and I don't roll up my sleeves like I usually do").
