Late to the party again. To stick with the theme today... All original and still unopened. Runs just a little slow. I'll have to pop it's cherry eventually but I think thisll be my "not until I get a timegrapher" watch. Haven't even tried to clean up the original owners "engraving" on the case back yet....

Fixed this SNZ453 up yesterday which came to me as a non-running freebie some time ago. Nice  At least yours came with the OEM bracelet. Mine was just the head. Bought another so I can transplant the dial soon as my hand levers arrive. Two themes today! I've been messing with this one the last couple of days. First "serviced" watch I've sold... To a buddy so I could keep an eye on it and take it back as I get better at this stuff. He dropped it breaking the escape pivot. I fixed that but then it was running faaast. Recleaned and de-maged the hair spring and I'm hoping to give back to him tomorrow. Looking at yours it seems I've got the bezel clocked 90 degrees. I'll have to sort that too first.

Well, I was feeling nostalgic and began looking therough the watch boxes, drawers, display panels and bags of working watches. Then I cam across this one...
I got this from an ESSO station as a promo for filling up with more than $8 in 1979. I had to replace the LCD about 10 years ago but it still works great. Not sure why but it runs for just over 7 years on a battery. Cheap is good sometimes
