Hello everyone, and a sunny greeting from frosty Finland!
I am still a less-than-a-year Seiko aficionado, brought under the spell SARB017 which I managed to buy just before they stopped it. After that I have migrated through a semi-obligatory diver to the 50+ year-olds, first a Seiko 5 DX, then a Seikomatic with cal. 395 and now the latest a Presmatic with a sound 5106 ticking inside. A regular beater is an SNK series 809.
I am very intrigued by watch fettling, and I am currently screwing up my courage to dismantle a watch. -- A friend of mine says that when a man becomes interested in the inner workings of a mechanical watch, he is growing old

Welcome Martti! There’s lots of information here to help you start to get into a bit of watch tinkering, have a dig around.
