Just a quick reminder that a week from today on Friday 16th November it is the second ever International Pogue Day. This even started on the old Pogue thread on this forum when a discussion was had amongst a few of us about the glory of the Pogue and how Omega have a Speedy Tuesday social media thing going every week, so we should do something for the 6139-600x. And yes, I know that the ‘One True Pogue’ is a 6005 but Pogue Day is more inclusive than that... a 6005 would be great but a 6002 will do just fine, as will anything close be it in gold or blue. And I really hope we get lots of Aussie Pogues this year! Mr.Jones has done all the work this year, coming up with pics for social media and banners (if you are on a pc you should see it in my signature line) so big thanks to you Jonas! Feel free to copy the pic and the banner and use it wherever you like to promote the day. Last year we had the first one and the Seiko communities around the world responded really positively, it was awesome seeing all the variants from battered old ones to NOS ones posted by all and sundry. I spent days drooling over the pics. So next Friday wear your 6139 with pride, post it in all your What are You Wearing threads and hit it up on all your social media sites with the hashtag #internationalpogueday and in the meantime spread the word far and wide so that we get as many people to join in as we can...

Kudos to you Gents for planning and organizing this event! Which graphic should we use in tandem with wrist shot? This one... Or graphic pictured above?

Hey man, whatever you feel happiest with! The graphics are a tool to promote the day. It’s easy for the SpeedyTuesday boys, they do it every week. As we only do it once a year we need to drum up the interest a bit! ;o)

I don't have a Pogue but I do have a yellow dial Pulsar chrono I will wear.
That ring around the yellow dial one is causing me to need to find a safe space since after Tuesdays' elections I have been marginalized.

My April 1969 Blue Dial with chrome ringed crystal and totally rebuilt by Adrian with re-lume etc is on a plane back from Oz. Can't wait should be here in time so I won't have to slum it with my perfect March 1969 blue dial.

Guess I’ll be wearing my -6005 non-resist which is the closest thing I’ve got to a True Pogue.

Pip will tell us all, International Pogue Day is to celebrate ALL 6139-600X chronos, the dial pattern/text/color is not a big deal. To folks like me Suneeth, they are all Pogues even if it's a first day of production SpeedTimer version or last day of production blue dial.

But for our purposes it is also a Pogue...

I think I need to finally add one to the collection...but not being anything close to an expert I figure times too short for this years event, to have on in hand...Might have to run a WTB ad on here....

This thread is torturous! I'm going to do something about this before next year... Anyone got a March '76 they wanna let me put on lay-away? The hunt is on!
PS those speedys don't help matters, lol!
