Very fun to see these, and I particularly like donciccio 's ROGERS up-down chrono! My collection started with old chronographs and I still have quite a few in the box. I'd really like to add a Japanese one! Here are some group shots, and I'm happy to expand on any of them if there is interest. I don't mean to be crass , but looking at your chronograph collection makes my pants fit tighter for some reason.

Many thanks donciccio and 69ChevelleSS . With respect to the Speedies, they were (relatively) affordable once, and they will likely be affordable again, if one has the patience to wait out the bubble.

Too bad because it is really bad ass for what it is These R Lapanouse chrono-stops are fun pieces and great conversation starters. And that one is great-looking, the dial has everything you could want. Whoever had the idea to design a timer-watch that stops completely when you stop the sweep hand ... and without a reset ... was definitely a creative thinker. The first time I saw one of them in person, I probably spent half an hour trying to figure out how to use it as an actual chronograph.

Oh well, it isn't the most expensive watch around Yeah, but that's not the point, I actually wanted to give it some wrist time. Any idea as to how it is supposed to be secured in there? If I remember the profile correctly, the crystal would have been inserted with a 'lift' (one of those crab claw things). Since the crystal popped out while sitting safely in the safe, I can only imagine that someone at some point replaced it with a non original part.
If you can actually push it back in place, then you could use some of that crystal cement to permanently locate it. I've actually done this with Elmer's White glue. It dries clear and does a great job. Since this watch is not meant to be submerged, I wouldn't worry about WR
Glue it on and give it some wrist love

Was scrolling through this thread and surprised that there were no Soviet chronos posted yet... until I saw the last post 3133 is a great movement and here is its brother 31659 (same movement but with hacking second):
