Today something exciting (for a watch nut) happened. tritto called the dress watch thread and my Friday entry was this Felca. This watch to me is my poor mans omega dynamic. I’d love one- it’s high on my grail list. I contemplated it as I drove to work. In my coffee line today I noticed a vintage watch. Without even thinking I left the line walked over and exclaimed. “Oh my goodness- is that an omega dynamic!” to the guy enjoying his coffee. Needless to say it was enough for him to let me inspect his fathers watch from the 60’s. The leather band was a nice feel and the watch was well sized and balanced. Back on the grail list.

No dress watch for me at the moment I’m afraid. Haven’t worn this one for awhile, and had forgotten what a great looking watch it is.

Still probably not a dress watch... Not being made from massive gold and all that.

Decided to give the Bulova beast a run out today. Funny how a picture can highlight areas of grot that you don’t see when you strap it on...

One of my first 'bay purchases with a seller supplied Champion hand finished Norwegian calf strap. Unsure of the caliber but the serial number dates it to 1952.
