Hello to all. As my member name implies my name is Kenny and I got started down this WISdom trail when I dug my original 6139-6005 out of it's hiding place of roughly 40 years ago where it sat in a state of disrepair. I decided it was high time I got it repaired and started wearing it again. I joined the SCWF and was referred to PsychoSeiko whom I sent my watch to and after a short wait, got it back in like new condition. Tom did a great job! I see that a lot of the members from SCWF are members here so to them I say hi and to everyone else on the Sushi, hello as well and I'm glad to be here.
P.S. I'm from Fairhope Alabama and good friends with Todd, aka seikoshepherd. We live within 20 miles of each other. Small small world.

Nice to have you here, the name is familiar from SCWF for sure.
I love my 6139s for sure, too:

Welcome Kenny. Your story sounds very familiar but the watch was my Dad's 6139-6005 and it was Shawn and Spencer that got it back on my wrist.
Glad you joined in on the "Sushi-style" Japanese watch fun.
