I was at a Tudor AD today looking at their brass Black Bay. I would rather have the one you just created !

Very impressive work. Curious how the wear characteristics of the brass plating are I've thought about trying to remove the chrome on a vostok (Komanderski has a brass body with chrome plating) to see if it would produce a similar look. Very cool diver you have.

Very cool diver you have. Thank you. As far as durability goes the brass has not rubbed off with a pencil eraser or Cape cod cloth. Long term durability we will have to wait and see. I can't believe no one has done it sooner, to my knowledge anyway.
