Up for your consideration is my all original Seiko Analog Quartz Chronograph 703A. This watch had a complete strip and service performed by Simon-Siralan of the Wrist Sushi forum. I found the reason the 4pm pusher was non functioning - I've not seen this problem before.

a rusted post.



I tried to clean this up, but the rust had corroded the surface of the post (making it thinner) and the switch wouldn't make contact.



In the end I pushed a post out of one of my spares

the rust gets everywhere (in the movement) but is particularly attracted to the very strong rotor magnets

I clean (and inspect) every component and this ensures that all such particles are removed.

This model 703A has the famous 7A28A caliber with 15 jewels.

Black dial with chronograph orange second hand sweep, 2 sub hands with a white seconds sub hand.

Pepsi Bezel insert has some scratches but is in is in good vintage condition.

The case back has some scratches.
The case is approximately 10.50mm high/thick.

This Seiko bracelet and clasp are in good condition with minor desk diving marks.





This 703A is keeping very good time and all Chronograph functions operate as they should without any issues.



It is a used 35 year old Seiko and I do not guarantee it to be waterproof.
