Hi All. Cokie from orpington. I have inherited my dad’s Seiko ufo 6138 0012 and would love to get it restored but don’t know where to start. It runs but looks a bit tired so I’m here for help and advice. I also have an iris complication which I bought years ago. Lovely watch but a bit small for my wrist now so it only gets a look every now and again and I put back in the box. . Thanks for any help and advice re the Seiko.

Hi Cokie, welcome to the Sushi Bar! I'd say there are a few people who could help you, siralan comes to mind, or Duncan at thewatchbloke.co.uk

Welcome Cokie! Another vote for the two that Jonas mentions above. Let’s have a pic of your 6138 then!

Welcome! I’m just a bit further south and east from you in Ashford. If you want the best for your watch, you need look no further than siralan on here - he’s UK based and serviced my inherited 6139-6020 before I knew a pallet fork from a balance wheel

Hi from Worcester Park. I have some NOS parts for 6138's if you get stuck.
