Citizen Parawater Deluxe from January 1960. First released in 1959, this was the first waterproof watch from Japan. The ‘59 pieces differed very slightly from this one in the positions of the text on the dial. This has the gentle, creamy, mottled aging of the dial that I really like.

Blue 7005-8060 from May ‘69 at dusk 51 and counting... Beautiful colour! One of the best things about blue dials, they can be a totally different colour in different light...
