Aloha ,
Does anyone have information as to finding a .... ( Seiko 6109-8009 Watch Movement ) ... ??
I have been looking for one for quite some time with no benefit to it.
Even a ... Parts Watch Head would be nice to find.
I think they are quite hard to get but I need to find out about finding and getting one.
Then I will try to find the ...Case / Case Back... and the rest of it eventually.

For the parts you need, can you try using a 6106A as a donor?

I have one or two of those, and as near as I can tell the 6109 is simply a non-hacking, Hong Kong-built 6106. Or I guess you could also call it a 17 jewel Hong Kong-built 6119?
In either case, parts from a 6119 or a 6106 should be compatible.
Not a particularly nice watch. They all seem to have simple printed dials and rather cheesy bracelets/cases.

Thanks guys for the information to all this. I tried putting it onto a new ... Seiko 6106 C Movement and the case
and the Dial fits good. The watch is working just fine now to.
The Dial dropped right on the movement and aligned good. Now to sort the needed Hands for it to be used.
Can not find the 6109 case so I have a ....6106-8000 case so will see how they work out. The movement has ...
Date Wheels .... so will try to find ....The 6106 Day Wheel for it.
Will try to find a matching ... Bezel for it to look like the ...6109. But it has a ...6106-8000 Bezel for parts now.
