Just checking in with my competition entry, not looking too bad at this stage, I recon it is about half a second off, and has been worn continuously during the whole period, not bad for a cheap modern quartz.

After the quartz challenge of setting the time on this one, I decide it might look better on a different bracelet
Original Speedmaster bracelet
And with a 7A28-7040 bracelet, which imo looks much better

I started a week ago at +9.1 seconds and now I'm at +10.4. +1.3 seconds for the week is a heck of a lot better than I was expecting.

This started a week ago at +1 iirc and now I’m at +3; don’t think I’ll be troubling the judges too much!

For a bit of fun this week I’m going with a ‘Roman numerals’ theme. Some people love them, some people hate them - I’m in the former category. Whenever I wear a watch with Roman numerals on the dial I feel like I’m really wearing a miniature clock on my wrist (which, of course, I am 🤣) Starting the week off with this gorgeous Presage SRPC79.

What a beauty, looks better than the stock Seiko pictures. My quartz entry is slow by under half a sec.

Well today I went with one of my ABC watches.............................Time to check the temperature !
I love the Auto Light feature.............if it's dark and you tilt the watch more than 40 degrees the face lights UP ! Down side, if you ever have to take someone temp in the field.........the watch is a Little big................hahaha

That herringbone dial plus the numerals looks awesome.
I'm partial to Roman numerals, however this is dependent on the proportions.
Slim typeface with a medium height always looks good. A good dial can be spoilt by over-generous numerals

One week in and still going strong, not too shabby after being found dead in a junk drawer.

Started out 1.8s behind, looks like I'm 3.0s behind a week later. 1.2s loss, I'll take that!
