We have been wanting to do this for quite some time, so we finally pulled the trigger. After quite a bit of research, we chose THIS Grand Design. Picking it up tomorrow, and the maiden voyage will be in 2 weeks. Any other TT owners out there?

That is a nice unit. I could see myself living quite comfortably in that. I am constantly looking at Travel Trailers and have migrated towards Airstream and it's sub class models like Argosy and Avion.
My intent would not be to tow it around but rather to put it in a year round RV park and enjoy the greatly reduced cost of living compared to owning a house on property.
I hope you guys have some wonderful adventures in your new tiny home 7dfe79adc2f0

I just had to look that up, it’s called a caravan over here. I’ve got a similar thing but it’s powered and we call it The Beast, although compared to US vehicles it’s probably a bit of a toy. I’ve literally just got home from a short trip with the family, kettle hasn’t even boiled yet!

Congratulations! We love ours. Headed to the beach for Memorial Day weekend and to the mountains later in the summer!
It's a great stress reliever and lets us see some places we night not otherwise get to see.
Wifey and I both hope to retire in the next two years (retirement 2 for me) and enjoy it even more.........
Edit: Just made reservations for Sanibel Island in early July!

Aloha Pip that is a ...Beast . When I lived on The Big Island my Friend from California lived on the other side of the Island in Kona. He lived there for about 6 years then moved back to Colorado. He had this on his property just sitting that he brought from California. I called me one day and tells me we decided to keep the house but we are moving back to California but my Son will still be here in the house. He tells me you know since you took good care of my .... Motor Home we decided to give it to you to keep so come over and get her. I said what am I going to do with that ........ Big Animal you have in your yard. He said I was going sell it but I want you to have it. So I go over there with my Work Pick Up. And I got this from Him but I had a Good Friend that came from California that lived next to another Friend where I lived and by the beach so I lone it to him to live while he was there for about a... 1 year then he left and it was in my yard for some time. I later lone it to my niece and they used it for 6 months while she live there. It stayed in good shape for a long time there. I really liked it and I used it too. I eventually left it to my .... Second Daughter and she has it at her home there and still uses it too. I still own it and help her maintain it also. Hey for Free Who Can Complain Right. Louis Another Beast too. This is ..... Chieftain 26 RU Motor Home I replaced the Motor with a Caterpiller Diesel and added another Rear Axle for the weight. This was the view to wake up some mornings when I took it out. Some other places also Fishing Trip and I make these Fishing Poles Myself We go after these guys Grandson Friend Grandson Uncle
