Have always wanted a 6139 pogue but worried about fakes on ebay. Time to do some deep diving research into the forums.
I notice prices have been increasing constantly as well.
Cheers and hoping to be of more value to the forum in the near future.

Maybe read through some of this post if you haven't seen it: wristsushi.proboards.com/thread/410/wrist-sushi-pogue-threadLots of good examples of 'real ones'

Welcome! You've come to the right place. Much love here for the 6139. Many members with with enough Pogues to slap on an octopuses wrists. Not very scientific but you get the picture.

What would be a fair price for a pogue in ebay nowadays. 500-600 USD?

Welcome. The 6139 chronos are iconic! They look great (and not at all dated) even after all these years.
My advice would be to buy one in the best condition you can afford as restoration can get pricey (pay now or pay later) and may require aftermarket parts. Also, be especially careful about the chrono and how it runs and re-sets as the chrono center wheel is a known possible weak point in these movements and are impossible to find.
Best of luck!
Enjoy the great people and knowledge here!

If I were you I'd try to buy a 6139 from the forum rather than taking chances on eBay. You'll get an honest example for an honest price.
