It's hard work trying to get a decent wrist shot with both watch and cuff links. I’ll try a different way...

I modified Eastech Endlinks and added a Tapered H-Link bracelet to my 6309-7049... Pleased with the results.

Skx399 I may be wrong but I think this one is an SKX173. The 399 has metal (chrome) outlines for the markers.

Finally back home after being away most of the week on business. I’ve had the pleasure of working in Bradford-on-Avon for the last couple of days which is a beautiful unspoilt English town in Wiltshire. I nipped into a charity shop on the way into work this morning and asked if they had any watches for sale. The manager brought out a box with various pieces, mainly fashion quartz but with a couple of old ladies cocktail watches. No Seiko unfortunately, but this one caught my eye. “Make me an offer...”, she said, “...it’s been in here for a few years.” I didn’t have any phone signal to do any research, and I couldn’t see what it was properly as my glasses were in my suitcase back at the hotel, but I figured it might be worth a punt. I knew it was a Rotary automatic, but that was about it. So, we settled on £20. Rotary “Elite” automatic, powered by a 17.20mm 25-jewel ETA 2671 movement. Small movement, but 28,800bph. Unmarked sapphire crystal, couple of scratches on the case but running great. Seemingly these retailed at £340 new, so I think £20 was a steal!

Guess I got "Pipped" this morning! Still wearing this guy.. Sorry! I think we both hit post about the same time 🤣 I posted a WRUW thread as well. Saw the two that had already been started and deleted mine. I then waited for about 15 min to see which one would be populated. Then fell asleep. Happy Friday.

When I say it keeps perfect time. I have had this on my wrist since Monday and checked it again against time.is and clock.zone. It was 23 seconds ahead on Monday, its 23 seconds ahead on Friday before I posted this! Have a great weekend all, going for lobster rolls at a food truck tonight!!!
