I have scanned the Seiko catalogs from the late 60's and made them available for download. Seiko first produced a unified catalog for the domestic market in 1966. Unfortunately this issue is extremely rare with not even the Seiko Museum in Tokyo owning an original example. The 1966 issue was followed by issue No.2 in 1967 and then in 68 and 69 there were tow issues released per year. There was also a supplemental issue for No.2 in 1968. You can download the catalogs from the following page - Seiko Catalogs - Late 1960’s (JDM)
I have scanned the issues in and made the index page clickable to jump to the relevant sections, I have also included bookmarks for the different sections to make navigation easier. The text in the catalogs has also been OCR'd but due to the quality of the originals it is not perfect but should be sufficient to understand the general information if pasted into Google translate and it allows some searching in the file. It takes quite a while to complete the scans of the catalogs but I intend to continue through the different issues and will post these when I have completed the next 5 years worth of issues.

Mr K, you are a star! I’ll be onto them as soon as I’m back in front of a pc.

This is amazing, Anthony, well done. I've picked up a few of these off Yahoo Japan but they generally go for more than I'm willing to pay - I can't imagine what the patience and cost it took to assemble all of these, unless you managed to find them all in one (amazing) source.

Brian, I picked these up individually. They do not come up for sale too often and I have only seen a couple of these pre-70's catalogs available. I have been collecting the catalogs for over five years and have accumulated a collection of most of the issues. It does take quite a while to scan and process these so it will be a while before I get the next batch uploaded.

I love seeing these catalogs. Weirdly I have found that there are rarely very many 52KS watches in any of the early 70s catalogs other than the famous 5246-6000 Special Chronometer. I really wanted to find the catalog entry for my weird 5246-5010 and I haven't had any luck yet.

Ahh.. finally! The only scans I’ve seen from these years are the GS ones from Grandseikoguy. Great quality also.
I found that the leather strap my -69 KS came on is in fact original, in very bad condition, but still.
And still no catalogue photos of 7005-8050/2. Have you ever seen one? Production ran between 69-75 I think.
Have you considered scanning the Domestic Watch Series (Dragonfly)? These would ideally have translations, but pictures and some movement info are still enjoyable.
