Hi all, Just found out about this site yesterday from an existing member, who recommended I join at once. I have been collecting vintage watches for a while, but have been focussing on Seikos over the last year or two, with one that has been mine since new - an 0674-5000 digital, which I have recently managed to get going again (the battery had leaked!) Am keen to learn more about the range, and find more models that I can connect with. This is where I have got to so far (maybe a bit too much emphasis on dive watches!) I look forward to connecting with you soon, and exploring the site. Many thanks Steve

Welcome Steve! If you value your wallet this is a bad place to come, full of pictures of beautiful watches and alluring posts by enablers. I’m down the road to you in Berkshire (but work in Herts) and there are a few of us UK boys on here, glad to have you with us, and that’s a strong collection already. Love a Pogue and a diver me, but who doesn’t?

Welcome Steve and cool collection. Dive watches are the staple of most Seiko collections.
Another Londoner here. There are plenty of watches that I would have never of thought of getting without the influence of some of these guys.

Plus a world timer etc And everything else Need to start saving.

Hi Kue, Any suggestions of something I should think about focussing my attention on? I have to move on from dive watches, and although I did want the 6105-8110 - they seem to be going for prices that are a bit beyond me now! My daily wearer tends to be the SKX, but I do think I should start wearing one of the vintage pieces more often.

Bellmatic, Bullhead and Worldtimer are great choices. Seiko sure does have a wide range so you can always find something you like or dislike. Trouble is if even if you get a Bullhead, there's another colour and JDM dials with different hand combinations I'm mainly a mechanical chronograph guy with dress watches in the mix. So any 6139,6138 and 7016 is fine by me. A King Seiko and Lord Marvel for Hi Beat goodness. Know how you feel about the 6105 and Seikos, prices are going crazy.

Welcome Steve, always good to have another Brit join up - your country needs you! I’m over to the east in Kent but work out of Paddington (amongst other places). Nice little collection there. I remember a time when I had only a few watches...

Excuse my ignorance, Pip, but where do I find the WRUW thread? Under "Newest Posts" - should not be hard to spot, since it has "WRUW" in the title. There's always a new one for each day - today's WRUW can be found here: wristsushi.proboards.com/thread/19348/wruw-thursday-20th-june-2019

Welcome! Nice Seiko collection you've got there. Can one have too many dive watches? I say no!

Thanks - and some great wrist shots - it would help if everyone actually wrote down the reference number - but I guess most people on the site know what watches they are.

If there’s anything that you want to know more about just ask - trust me when I tell you that most of us quite like the opportunity to talk about our watches!
