I’m 3 days in to a push-up challenge to raise money for mental health. I’d love as many peoples support in fund raising. Even tiny amounts make a big difference. To find out more here is a link to the site and my page. www.thepushupchallenge.com.au/pushuperer/34891Here is a dumb video of me finishing the last 20 of 214 push ups yesterday. youtu.be/SX5j9Tc9fbA

What's the significance of the 3128 push-ups?
My wife would walk the "AVON 39" breast cancer walk, which was 26 miles day one (Marathon) and 13 (1/2 marathon) the next...for a total of 39..funny she didn't but 2+2 together in the beginning when I asked what the 39 meant...or should I say 26+13....

What's the significance of the 3128 push-ups? 3,128 push-ups in total, representing the number of lives lost in Australia due to mental health issues in 2017.

Big Thank you to the guys who have donated. I’ll keep posting how it’s going. Great challenge if anyone’s interested. Each day you lean a fact about mental health based on the number of push ups you do. For example 213 push ups was a goal on Wednesday which related to the maximum recommend sugar intake (calories) per person per day as there is a link between high sugar diets and depression.

I don't think I could do 213 push-ups in a day... I'd have to stop doing what I do 213 times!

Great effort Cam. Are they having a big push to address mental health in Oz too? It's becoming much more accepted as an issue here.

I am not a participant, but I thought I'd have a crack at playing along with the challenge (albeit starting a few days late). I managed the first days target, but stepping up to the second day was a real challenge (I haven't done any pushups for six months). Kudos to you Cam.

tritto glad you gave it a crack. It hurts. I tapped out at about 180 yesterday so have to do 200 today to catch up. There are muscles I don’t know the name of that I didn’t know existed. I now curse when I move them. They connect to my shoulder blades and stretch (or not) down my back.
