Big shout-out to kue who provided me with a gasket holding ring for this (and some other bits and bobs) when we met up earlier this week. 6139-7101 ‘Helmet’. Hour and minute hands are off ‘something’ (no idea what...) and the chrono hands are off a -7060, as that’s what donated the movement. Ok, it’s not perfect or original and the movement could do with servicing, but I like it. I think the splash of colour makes the dial less ‘stark’ than the standard black hands. Sounds like we’ve both been working on our helmets. Just got this one back together after a case swap, all new seals, and a new AM bracelet. Also got a gasket holding ring that was missing from the case it came to me in.

Aloha Going to join Cam today with This One. Trying it on one of these ...Two Ring Straps but on the last hole and way to short. I had a .... 3- 4 Ring one but did not like that type to much. Louis I didn’t realize these were released in 86 and were the first depth gauge watch. Pretty cool milestone.

Today's Seiko golf tip of the day: "At night all cats are grey." Heywood
Wore this one to work today.
When I was walking up I saw this out front.
Then walking in I saw this
And an hour later the store manager and a guy from tool rental are outside trying to figure out why it isn't working and overflowing and smells like, well, an outhouse in 85° temps
He says "if you have to go punch out and drive across the street to Menards or Target and we'll fix the punches so you aren't docked the time"
