So, having briefly intro'd myself I thought I'd write a brief SOTC
Top left going right;
SZEN010 night monster in purple (note the purple night monster is red for some reason) picked up in Japan earlier this year.
Citizen GNS4 quartz diver picked up off eBay, my beater. Sort of close in appearance to one I had stolen from me in school a long time ago.
Frederique constant, my fiancee got a ring, she got me this. Lovely open heart, now on a grey suede.
SBBN031 MM tuna, first tuna and opted for a quartz movement.
Omega Seamaster 300 2254.50 from my brother for my 30th.
SBGA109 "tatami" spring drive, my only GS, lovely watch with a beautiful sweeping seconds hand.
Seiko LordMatic, nice 70s vintage I also got in Japan love the linen dial and simplicity. Why can't Seiko make watches like this any more? The size is perfect and makes for a nice dress watch.
Seiko Bellmatic 17 jewel, though the case has been refinished a bit too harshly, it's a nice watch, the mechanical alarm is a bit of a novelty.
SPB069, enamel dial. Colour shifts from blue to more like purple in sunlight.
SARB033, nice watch in its own right, but doesn't get as much wear as it should.
SBTR017 mechaquartz chronograph, a birthday present from my other half.
SBDX001, MM300 on a waffle strap. Recent addition, a bit big but feels very sturdy, really like the attention to detail for what is essentially a tool watch. It's a bit too nice to be treated as one though......
I've a couple of incoming in Sept when I go back to see the family in the UK, a Longines hand wound dress watch, and a Favre Leuba Sea king.
I keep telling myself no more, but something interesting always seems to pop up.
Next on my list I'd like to get is the SPB073 shippo enamel.
Other than that I'd like to also add a speedmaster to the collection some day.
As to a "grail", I think that'd be something like a Credor Eichi II.
The keepers, ones ai don't intend to sell are the ones below;
