So, I watched Spencer & Sabrina Klein's weekly mail call video earlier today.
What absolutely BLEW MY MIND is there is apparently a statement in the owners manual which says that the LCD panel in the watch may only last 5 - 7 year at which point the watch would have to be returned to Seiko to have the panel replaced. REALLY? In my mind, that makes the watch almost disposable and at the price point these are selling at, I find it ridiculous. I'm guessing that the repair will cost the owner of the watch at least a few hundred dollars, if not more.
One funny note . . . . Spencer and Sabrina came up with a classic nick name for ths SNJ025 . . . . . wait for it . . . . they called it the ArSol . . . . classic IMHO!

I agree if they are expecting the buyer to have to replace the panel after five to seven years, they are not living up to Seiko standards.
My 1989 H601 LCD panel is alive and well 29 years and counting !!

I need to read the manual then coz I haven't seen that. That's what you get for not reading the manual, but being a make that's the price I normally pay! And as for the nickname... that's already got some traction on a couple of forums and as far as I know it was first coined right here on WS. But don't tell @penguinbce, he doesn't like nicknames!

"Arsol" originated here on this board, I think? I posted it to Spencer's vid in the comments section, but maybe someone somewhere else thought of it first?

Henry , are you happy being responsible for this??? 😆 I did say it.. I was just going off what had already been said.. I believe it first came about within a few posts of pip sharing his new ArSol in the what have you got coming in the mail thread on page 221.. Now if i'm only going to get five to seven years of use out of my ArSol.. I'm just gonna have to wear the crap out of it....

I did say it.. I was just going off what... Ssssshhhhh, just leave it at that.
You coined it. I suggest a good scum sucking attorney to copyright this word and take full credit.
Congratulations. May it be up there with Turtle, Monster, and Tuna.

My favorite nickname. I always thought 'Sumo' was lame. But the prudes on the board weren't having it...

This obviously harkens back to the days before people started getting all OCD about alignment issues. Besides, that marker doesn't even look like a 'camel toe'...more like a 'cat paw'

That reminds me, is $40 a good deal? I dated a Brazilian 19 years my junior for 3.5 years. It got to the point where I'd take $40 to get rid of her. What she saw in me I don't know. But easily the hottest piece of arm candy I'll see in my lifetime. But the novelty wore off.
