Hi Guys,
I have been using Tapatalk for a few years now which is a phone app that enables me to browse the forums and post photos easily. Yesterday I hit the buffers as for the first time ever it said I had used up all of my allowed data and must become a VIP member and pay for a subscription.... I understood they had a paid part for the app to remove ads and for us to be able to upload the highest quality photos.. I was about to subscribe as it was a crazy offer of £4.48 for the year so nothing to moan about. However my phone rang and I never got back round to doing it.
Today I have been able to upload a photo, probably because its now a new month but also now the membership is £10.00 for a year. Still not a lot in the great scheme of things.
So the question is does anyone else use this platform to create posts in the group? equally what other ways do you guys upload photos in your posts?
I mainly do most of my posting via my phone whether its here or Facebook / YouTube.

I’ve literally bought VIP this week after bitching about it for a week or two. It was a tenner for lifetime iirc. I’d spend that on coffee and a bun without thinking and it has made my life simple again.

Been using the free version for years and have learned to never update the app if you're happy with the current version.
So far I've never had a limit to the number of pictures I upload, and if the latest version is causing this issue then I'll never update to it.

It seems Photobucket bought TinyPic and closed it's doors in September... Very nice.

I have Tapatalk installed on both my Apple and Android devices. I’ve read that if I hook up to VIP on either it’s only valid on that particular device, I believe as the payment is linked to either your Apple ID or Play Store ID. I can’t confirm as I haven’t paid up for VIP, and I’m loathe to do so if it means it’s restricted to specific devices (and also because I’m a tight arse).

I read that too, different devices require different versions so have to pay for both. I only use it on my iPhone and iPad though.

But I'm only seeing links when you post, not photos.

I find it funny that it can be a problem for so many, including myself, to post these pictures on forums😀🙄

You are already using the same software. You just need to find out where the links are hidden!
