I picked up this 6118-8000 for a song last week on the assumption that the bracelet might be a nice match for a SilverWave I have. It isn't to be though - the end links are 19mm. Sold as running but needs a battery, I'm pleasantly surprised that it has run for almost 24 hours without a battery change! Cleaned the case and polished the crystal. The bracelet is very nice. I'm surprised to find a 6118 dated March '75 - long after the 6119s seem to have been phased out. Insanely gorgeous congrats on this one !!!

This 6139-6002 is probably the most pristine example I’ve ever laid my hands on. A shout-out to my good friend Reynaldo for giving me a crack at it. This watch is from July of ‘71 and was serviced by KVW. Installed is a later NOS Seiko Bezel that was purchased from Jonathan Koch before his passing. What an honor and privilege it is to own. Very nice T Michael

Pardon my dust... This was a gift from our old friend Lew Brown. Out of curiosity, I put this watch on my Timegrapher. It showed a deviation from +44spd to 50spd in all positions. Additionally the amplitude only varied from 200 to 204 with a beat error of 0.0ms to 0.2ms! I'm wondering if I tweak this, will I get a near chronometer performance? Will give it a shot tomorrow.
