I accidentally pressed a button on my G757-405A and now it’s constantly flashing in the Time mode! I can’t exit out of it. It stays flashing on the seconds only, as if I need to set the time. I press the button to cycle through (flashing through the minutes, hours, day, date, etc...) and instead of exiting the time setting feature it keeps flashing back at the beginning on the seconds. It won't exit the feature. It constantly wants me to set the time. The battery is brand new installed a month ago and has been working flawlessly.
Help!!

Try holding the mode button in for about 10 seconds and see what happens. Failing that, take the battery out and try again.

Jumped the gun. Started flashing again Mode button trick didn't help. Will need to reset the battery I guess. I have it in Timer mode. Doesn't flash and tells the time, day and date. It just doesn't tick the seconds.
Anybody here service this model? I'd like to keep it running strong. Sooner or later it'll be impossible to fix these.

You should probably try changing the seals first before going any further. If one of the buttons is sticky you're going to have a bad time. Jumped the gun. It's working again
I just double clicked the mode button in the Time setting out of frustration and it stopped blinking. Go figure
For now I'm leaving it in the watch box. I'll enjoy it that way until I sort it out.

What do you mean by "seals?" The gaskets on the pushers?

For what it's worth: the blinking in time only is the watches sign for low battery. Even a "brand new" battery can be flat. Try replacing it again with another. And while you're at it, look at the battery contracts... Maybe the battery is good, but there might be crud preventing it from making full contact.

Yep. If they are shot the buttons will be sticky and of course, you have no moisture resistance as well. They can stick enough that after you press the button, it stays partially stuck, causing the issues you're experiencing. You should probably try changing the seals first before going any further. @suntza have you still had the G757-405A? Did it keep flashing afterwards?
