Hi All, I recently bought an Actus 6106-6400. I'm not sure if the Actus has been over-polished or meant to have that shiny cushion case look. It has come with an original bracelet. Google image searching doesn't really show any high res photos of this model. Your thoughts are most welcome Hamburgers. Attachments:

I don't think a golden casing can be over polished without removing the plating so I would say it is the original finishing but well I'm just a beginner in vintage Seiko collection. better wait for an expert opinion.

Hi, Thanks for the reply. The poor photos I attached to my first post doesn't reflect that the case and bracelet are stainless steel. Sorry! Please see below for a more natural photo (happens to be clustered with another two purchases). Thanks!!! Hamburgers. Attachments:

in that case, I must confess I cannot say for sure but what can be noticed is that the whole watch -crystal included- shows no sign of wear, nor scratches. So I guess it has been restored and probably polished. it doesn't mean that the original finishing was not polished though. that said, it seems it was done properly and this is really a nice little watch I can easily imagine on my wrist 😁. if you like it as it is, why not!
