Funny how this was my daily wearer for 20 years and then my collection grew and this fell to the back burner. Wearing it the past three days after a major overhaul made me remember how much I love it. Vintage, timeless, beautiful patina, lays perfect on the wrist, and my grandfather’s. I think I’ll enjoy it a little while longer.

Been slacking on my wrist shots lately That's a beaut! And you got the date right. Love the green. I'm in the process of a case restoration on a TYPE II 7546-8160 with a two tone emerald green dial and faceted crystal. Can't wait to show it off. Not a lot of green dials around so when you get a real nice one its cool to see.

Hi all. Seiko 6105-8119. I bought this out of the US some years ago when I first got into vintage Seiko, and the Earth was younger. It came reconditioned after seawater incursion which destroyed the original movement and disintegrated the original hand set. It came with a replacement hand set, an AM bezel insert, a bracelet from a 0634, and a tall story about the history of the watch, which may or may not be true, The replacement hand set didn’t match the original dial patina, but it took a while before I got around to doing anything about it. I sent it over to Adrian-VTA for hand re-luming, fitting of the original bezel insert and removal of the bracelet that I could not budge. It’s back, and Adrian did a great job to match the lume. Regards, Ross Wow she is beautiful. Adrian sure does amazing work.
