Hi all, I’m a Canadian born, NYC based theatre artist. Lover of Seiko automatic divers, but would love to add some vintage chronograph to my collection eventually. Have a great day! -Robert

Welcome, glad you joined the forums! What Seiko's are currently in your collection, and which are you interested in adding?

Also across the river! Vintage Seiko chronographs is a great rabbit hole to go down. Lots of great references, funky styling, cool technology, interesting history and mostly affordable. It adds up when you factor in a service. Also a big mine field to traverse so ask questions if they’re new to you. Great videos on YouTube to enjoy and learn.
Share your diver references!

Welcome, glad you joined the forums! What Seiko's are currently in your collection, and which are you interested in adding? Hi Treescientist (and all, thanks for the welcome!) Current collection started with a lone SKX173 I bought for a dive trip. A common gateway watch, I know! Then added a 009j and 013. Then a Turtle reissue, a blue Mini turtle I adore, a PADI Samurai and second gen Sumo. A dodgy 4205-0152 with some aftermarket bits acquired on eBay before I knew better, and there’s a NOS white Stargate in the mail. I’m definitely hot and heavy for a 2nd gen Monster Dracula, just lost one on EBay in the final seconds. Love the newest monster with the black dial on silicone. Always cruising around for a Spork. Love all the vintage Seiko divers, but they may be out of my price range for the moment. A sliver wave on leather would make a lovely dress watch....
