Not sure how to describe this dial, sapphire dust maybe? Anyways I thinks it's a beauty although if someone has a correct spare faceted crystal I'd be delighted to acquire it 😉 September '74 0923-8020 'QZ' Sapphire dust is a good name 🤙 Diggin the dial man Thanks it should have a facetted crystal though and I expect it would look amazing behind one

What’s the part number for yours ? Wow that's gorgeous I'm guessing a 7546 movement looking at that round edged day/date window? I don't know the crystal reference for mine, just that it doesn't currently have the right one. It's on my ever growing list of research to do and track down.

Wow that's gorgeous I'm guessing a 7546 movement looking at that round edged day/date window? I don't know the crystal reference for mine, just that it doesn't currently have the right one. It's on my ever growing list of research to do and track down. Thank you very much! I attached a before picture. It was in terrible shape. Crystal was sloppily glued to the bezel which you can see at 3:00, case heavily scratched, dial dirty, paint missing off a hand, and someone used a flat head screwdriver to pry off the bezel at the 9:00 spot. I had the case re-polished to an almost factory state and the bezel fixed and polished. I had the case back refinished as well. The bracelet was in good shape and I was already knee deep into it price wise so I left as is. I have about $200 into it and it's worth more than the watch itself, but I absolutely love it; the emerald green two-tone and faceted crystal. It's like a jewel in the light that you manipulate around and marvel at the beauty! I saw the diamond in the rough and felt it was worth the investment. I'm very satisfied with the outcome. Glad you like it!
And to you point, you're correct sir, It's a 7546-8160 from January 1978.

Hard to capture the beauty of the dial with camera, is a grayish blue, is quite lovely. Oh, that is lovely! Triple seven for me today:

Gorgeous, and that NATO color is spot on for it, like it came with it. Thank you next try and find a nice leather to go also. I think a nice, off the beaten path color instead of the typical black, brown, tan families. Something earth toned like a gray or in the greens.
I like these since it's a sport model. I buy my leather straps from Holben's which is where these are from. Lots of great custom sellers too on Etsy who make them for not a lot of money. You can create one yourself.
Of course, for what my opinion is worth! My father told me once that opinions are like assholes; everyone's got one and the world is filled with them.

I'll have a look but definitely liking the first one with the rally style pattern holes. Color wise yeah I agree the normal browns and black aren't the best when holding them next to each other. I've always had good luck with Etsy, time to go strap hunting! Thanks always nice to get others opinions.

Worth every cent! The 7546 is one of my favourite movements, tough as nails but found in so many beautiful references, thanks for sharing - and for the heads up on a crystal too 👍
