I was gonna wear my Arnie but I noticed that the insert wasn’t seated properly. Put it on the Robur but no joy. I think I need to shave its circumference by a few thou. Anyway, so I chose a 007.

Dusting of snow. Letting the sun do it’s work before going out and cleaning up. Enjoy the football games to those that watch. Good matchups. 6139-6012 on this awesome vintage rally bracelet. Actually super comfy and nicely hugs the contour of my wrist. Although not a true Bruce Lee (mine is in for service) I put it on this bracelet because he wore his on a Kreisler rally bracelet that is sorta similar. Doing so has done nothing to channel his superhuman skills. In fact I crawled back into bed. I’ve seen one picture of a guy who found Lee’s exact bracelet. Excuse the glare.

6602-7040 from June ‘70. Stunning dial and handset for its age, and the lume is actually still pretty decent as well!

My favourite beater- a birthday gift from last year (my other half could not quite afford the Samurai I was lusting after!) Love them or hate them, the Invicta “pro diver” runs the NH35A Seiko movement (4R35). This one’s lightly modded, and has not been regulated in the time I’ve had it, and is consistent at +\- 4 spd, depending on whether it’s been worn or not. It’s pretty indestructible, and I love it, warts and all! Attachments:

I have some "SEIKO" applied dial logos coming way to see if I can add them to some AM and/or sterile dials.

Nice to hear some of you are enjoying the swings in temperature. Things are finally warming up here in Cowtown. It's presently -15C going up to -1C. That's practically balmy compared to what we experienced this past week.

It is a dial swap @hbeat, the original dial’s markers were just a bit small. It’s also a replacement second hand, because the original one’s lumed “meatball” was lost against the larger minute markers, and didn’t quite look balanced. The bezel insert is a replacement too. It’s thicker than the original insert, and doesn’t scratch as easily. These watches represent great value for money, although this model is the least garish of the Invicta range, it has become popular as a modding platform, and prices are creeping up.

Aloha , Home for a while but going with this for some Diving for some Goodies for tonight. But I still also depend on my other ..... Suunto Eon - Steel Computer because I still use ....A Double Tanks Pack for diving. I like to have .... Extra Air in case it is needed. We are going to a spot we always catch Big Huge Eels for use. I also Smoke them when I get them and like I say we love to eat a lot of Sea Foods and others. Louis Fresh Brackish Water Conger Eels are a delicacy here. Then I'll cook it Japanese Style on open Grilled called ..... Miso Yaki. Then go after these..Spiny Lobsters. Here in Hawaii you catch as many as you want, but we do not touch the Female's if they have eggs. Then I Cook it and Serve it Deep Fried Japanese Style like this. I also make it with ... Spices - Ginger - Garlic - Green Onion ... Deep Fried.

Fresh Brackish Water Conger Eels are a delicacy here. That's what I use to go striped bass fishing here in the North East. Hook it with an eel rig and a slider sinker and let him slither about until eaten as bait. Slippery as hell. I need to dust with sand to get a grip. Not my pictures below but we have massive hogs here. I keep the smaller bass (like 30") that are legal and let the beasts go. They're solid breeders and keep the species plentiful.
Looks like you'll enjoy a heck of a meal though! Reminds me of my friend in Florida. We set out crab traps in the morning and then feast at night. I'm going for a week at the end of February.

Bought a watch in pieces, win some, lose some. Case in good shape, crown damaged, worst of all the dial was missing the feet. Managed to glue on one foot to keep it from spinning. Just needs a replacement dial and a crystal. March ‘99 SKX173
