To quote my better half: “they all look the same” I’ve heard that one before. I tried explaining the differences and that I need to collect the various diver references to complete the theme. “...And when my wife tried to prevent me from doing my duty, I ‘corrected’ her...” Yeah! We need to be strong and firm on our position! For instance, I laid these ladies for a picture and when I heard someone approaching my room I quickly tuck them away as I was almost certain I would have successfully failed in properly explaining any difference so better it could have justified having so many.... this reminded me of this mem ... When I saw your post it reminded me of that scene in the movie "The Shining" which I quoted
I'm not married, but I caught my ex-girlfriend browsing my eBay purchases on my computer. She said it was fair game because it was up on the screen and she wanted to use my computer. I was furious with her not because she was on my computer but because she questioned how I spent my money despite my silence on her habits or the fact I paid for everything for her son (despite receiving child support) so she could save. I said if I wanted a wife I'd get married Anyway...

Hi WS! I feel the need to share with you a point in my watch collecting journey that I haven’t thought I would reach.... this is where I was at the beginning of this crazy year: And this is where I am now: I do have couple of honorable mentions (not available for the pic) among which a 45 King Seiko recently refurbished by the Lapinist (can t wait for the new strap to start wearing her) and the Bond SMP300 quartz. The remaining Sushi part of my collection consists in several Monsters and Gshocks. I am wondering for how long I can still consider myself eligible of posting on WS with so many non Sushi pieces in my watch box ... Attachments:

The 3 are in addition to or instead of? Say it isn't so. Rob

Oh my...I applaud your decision. A different direction of the hobby indeed. I can't even downgrade my collection, although some pieces haven't been on the wrist, or seen light of day in years. Strong move.

That's pretty crazy Razy! You had some really special vintage pieces.
I'm a huge Tudor fan too and love your two choices. That's a very distinguished duo you have. My father has a Ball and I'm underwhelmed. It needed a service very shortly after purchase performed by Ball and it runs like crap. The bezel sucks on it too.
I have a couple grail watches and have struggled with offloading a handful of my Seikos to fund one maybe two. It would be devastating to break up the collection I have worked to acquire. Yeah, I have maybe a dozen or so that I don't wear much but they're inexpensive and wouldn't fund much in the grail category. Maybe in 2021 I'll sell them all and acquire a couple 6138's I've always wanted.
But, I've been wondering what happened to you and can see why! Good luck with them. And you're officially banished

True, not the nice vintage pieces I had... Balls are great however too many LE. Sorry to hear about your father’s. Mine is fine so far. Tudors are great. Vintage and modern. I like this about them. It takes efforts and discipline to decide and sell watches from the collection and is not an easy thing to do especially when each piece had its story and meaning from a historical perspective. And Seiko has a great history... I had a “click” this last crazy year also from the watch collecting perspective. The latest and greatest of my grails is this JLC. Amazing quality and so understated. First pic was take by a friend of mine (from whom I actually bought her) Cheers! Raz PS: please don’t banish me!!! I really like this community!!!

I've enjoyed reading your watch reviews but seems like the pictures on the sbbn007 review have disappeared. Wanted to revisit that review as im on the hunt for a sbbn007 and reading up on everything I can find to feed the tuna fever.

Thanks! the website is moving to a different domain and once completed all pics will be visible again (should take a week or so) IMO the Sbbn007 (and 017) are one of the coolest looking 300m tunas . Good luck with the hunt!
