Grab and go this morning, woken up far too early by my boy who was excited to give me a card.

All change now I’m back from the family exercise. My Dad’s watch from around his teens I think; found when we were clearing the house out. A movement service and she runs reasonably well now.

Bought this one more than 15 years ago for an occasion which I can't recall. Found it in a box of books last week and worked on picking it up. No date quickset so date stays as is.

This was my Grandfather's 5C23-8009. I had a Seiko H601 as my only watch when he passed in 2001. My uncle gave me his watch. I started admiring all the details on a lower tier Seiko quartz. It's amazing what Seiko offers bang for the buck. Now look where it landed me... Happy Father's Day y'all !!

Happy Father's Day! Picked this up a few months ago to add to my Alpinist collection. Managed to find one in a lovely condition. I like the off-white shade of the dial in daylight but I'm still not sure about the lume (whole dial). Maybe it'll grow on me over time.

My dad gave me this when i started getting into watches a year or two ago, was really happy to see it was a seiko. (Also looking for some extra links for this bracelet, it's a little tight on me)

That is a nice looking watch mikey. Can you tell me where I might get one? It's a limited edition, Jennie, and long out of production. In fact, I think hmt is no longer in business.
