Several months ago my Omega Connie 18kt Gold was refurbished by the Omega Service Center.
After the overhaul, the watch had issues that I will explain later, and after my constant gripes they said... ok send it back!!!
I sent the watch back ...and it came back two days ago, so right away I wound it and started wearing it. Yesterday I saw that maybe everyone in the world was a little behind in time... even my cell phone. As soom as I got back I got into the Official Clock in Colorado site and set the watch at zero seconds and put the minute hand right on... so as soon as the atomic clock hit the 59th second ...whamoo! I pushed the crown in. so then, they were synchronized... well one day after, this watch is again demonstrating that my cell phone is slow, as well as the Official clock in Colorado. LOL
The documentation sent with the watch from the Honorable Omega Service Center says +3 seconds per day... but... one day after (24 hours to be exact), all the clocks in the world are 4 minutes behind... "NICE WORK Omega Service Center... I paid more that $700 for a repair of a Chronometer watch that gains 4 minutes per day.... I wonder if you have automobile mechanics (no insult to the mechanics intended) servicing chronometers.... what a waste of time and resources... It seems to me that you do not value my time or your company's time and resources. This was the second time around... I really wonder if you have apprentices in watchmaking on their first day at school doing the jobs."
I will continue with this later... have been driving from Tucson all day and am very tired... time for a cold one.
