Closest I have to a Pogue. It’s running, but poorly. This shot is before the minute register hand fell off. Edited: I think the second hand is original but the minute register hand is not. Easy to see from the color difference they are not from the same place/time.

Old pic and not a true Pogue (6139-6005) that my Dad was the original owner of:

Here is my 6005, believed to be all original except for the crystal.

Now log off IG and make WS a daily stop again My QT-77 works great except it really struggles getting a clean signal on the mechanical setting. I have dirty contacts I think and there might be too much noise. For quartz, I can leave the gain knob all the way down to Auto, but for mechanical, I have to turn it up to 75% and then, I can see the signal light flashing randomly. I get spurious readings so I think it is just too low a signal to noise ratio. Just turning the knob makes the signal light flash a lot so it must be dirty. Moving the plug in the jack does the same. Maybe one day I'll make a project out of getting in there and cleaning all the contacts. Old stuff doesn't always work very well. That's what she said.

I wish I had a Pogue... still working on that. Today, just this Nov 1966 "Diashock Dial" Bellmatic. It is getting dark early here now...
