vmaxnl - thank you for another wonderful history lesson on the classic vintage Seiko offerings. These Seikomatics of yours are wonderful. I especially like the day wheel seen on your 6206-8130 and Groundhog66 's 6206-8040. These seem to be along form of the day of the week which I have not seen before. Do you know anything about these day wheels?
I am also very taken by the concept of the indirect lume deployed in the 8305-1000 Sealion M77 and intend to one day bring one of these back to bright function if I can!

Yes, the entire layout of these is just sublime, especially the long-form day at 6 and the stealth crown at 4. Truly "Start with a block of metal and carve away everything that isn't a timepiece..." minimalist design ethos. Just curious... it appears the lume hands on my 6206-8040 Dolphin are not that common... does that and the fact of not having the lume dots on the chapter ring indicate a possible Franken-phin...? They do appear to be quite old; if I shine my bright LED flashlight on it for aboot 10 seconds, I can just see a faint glow. I don't know if these date back to the Radium lume era or not. mnem *toddles off to bed*

They do look 6139.
Dauphine appears to be the norm.

Note "Japan Made" at the bottom - - hallmark of the "Mumbai Specials".😁

Had forgotten about this thread. It's been a year since I posted above. I now have maybe a dozen! This J13060 jumped out at me today as I was sure I had a 39 jewel watch somewhere. It arrived on a Bambi bracelet

Wow, that's awesome twhp101 ! Would you call that a Dolphin King logo? Has dapellegrini got that one documented in his caseback thread?
And tell me more about the blue Citizen book it's laying upon

And tell me more about the blue Citizen book it's laying upon I think that is one of his 80s catalogs.

And tell me more about the blue Citizen book it's laying upon Ha I did think after I took the photo I should have had it on something Seiko related. That has been sitting on my bench for a week or two (I've had zero chance to work on anything). From memory it's a '78-1 catalogue. Might be '79. I have that, 80-89, and I think 96 and 97. Not sure what they call the Dolphin/Crown casebacks!

I have a few Seikomatics to contribute - I have around a dozen, a few of which haven't popped up on this thread yet. I'll have to get some photos together over the next couple of days. Here is a J13044 with what seems to be a relatively rare charcoal dial:

And a swirly-brushed non-WP Cal. 603:
