Looks like the famous ASEIKON with the A and The N photoshopped out. Just last week I binned one as I'm cleaning up my watch area and collection Rob No photoshopping- I actually saw this in a pawn shop years ago and explained to them that it wasn't real (they knew) I then bought it for like $2.99 on a whim, and not sure why the hell i did that.. Ha! I kept my Aseikon in a drawer for a decade! (It came in a pile of junk watches) In this hobby, some actions have no reason behind them and make no sense. It's a beautiful thing! Rob

Today's wear is a real oddity. It is the only known remaining limited edition SEIKO pocket knife/money holder clip/Ladies Datejust-inspired promotional item made specifically for the US Women's Basketball team in the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow. Look at how that gold color pig metal shines like an 18K gold bezel Rolex ! Featuring a base movement 7N83, one each was given to the US women upon their arrival at the Olympic camp complete with a 5 Euro bank note. This small value currency was intended to allow them to purchase a bottle of water from the vendors walking the stadium since the Russians would not provide our team with food or drink on game day in an effort to tilt the competitive landscape away from our Dream Team. This later became part of the pay-to-play scandal that tarnished our ladies team and their reputation, even resulting in them having to vacate their 1 point overtime win over Andorra of the day before. Nonetheless this rarely seen gem is one of my most highly treasured SEIKO watches. Hope you enjoy

Last time was 12-15 years ago when I had a side hustle roofing houses. A coworker had me do a friend of his roof. I walked in to his area in the morning and his face was a straight as could be saying what kind of roofer are you? Gilmar called and said he has water everywhere. (It had been raining hard for several days) I just about died...at which point he saw how bad I took it and said AF!. He was lucky I didn't punch him in the mouth!!! Every year I'm reminded especially today since it rained here.

They say things look bigger in pictures I can assure you this fits very well on the wrist. The rubber strap looks very cool, but sucks in IMO. Went with the first NATO I did had in a close drawer. This was about what I paid for a movement from Crystal times on sale with tax and shipping! People aren't shy to tell how they feel about Homage "Knock-off" copies. But at this point I think of Steel Dive as a "micro Brand. Not original but man the quality of the cases, and bracelets I have personally seen, man oh mam. And that's no April fools joke either

Watch/ knife look the part, it's the Euro note that wasn't in circulation for another 20 years that made me pause. Good stuff! Rob

So they couldn't have been given upon arrival. I doubt we would have played Andorra, let alone need OT to squeak out a 1 point win And paper Euro currency started the following year. Like you said my spare 5 Euro bank note is modern style too small scubarob99 Glad you guys enjoyed. April Fool's for sure.

I was fervently googling about the history of Euro and almost announced to my co-workers "do you know when the first Euro note was published?" Good one!
