That's a top class result, what's the spec on this one, I don't recognise it? I've got to say, the way you consistently produce these clean style but effective and appealing watch mods is very impressive. I can't think of anyone else who can match your eye for design quality, and to produce so many of this standard is humbling. Do you sell them or are they all for your own use?

Ok, back now. Let's see if this is still glitchy... The base model on this is a Seiko BFS. Dial is ETA black, glossy - 28.5mm. Hour/Min hand are DAGAZ with lume removed. Second hand is stock Seiko. Movement is a 4R from an SRP model. I swapped original crown to the 4R stem. Most of my mods are for my use. I've sold a handful - one here on Wrist Sushi actually. Many of my mods are continuous works in progress. Some, I'll use the same case multiple times swapping out dial and hands until I'm happy with the final product. There's a balance between hands, dial, chapter ring, bezel, even bracelet/strap that I'm still slowly learning. Some of the best advice I received was from my music teaching: "Practicing is the time to get the bad notes out (of your system)." For every nice mod of mine, there was probably 4 or 5 crappy ones before it. Here's the 4R:

Took a bit of a break... glad to be back. Hey, glad to have you back Too bad you've just missed the Wrist Sushi 4th anniversary contest and 5 of the Watch-A-Month giveaway contests. Not to worry though because there will be at least 6 more WAM contests and a year from now we will celebrate our 5th birthday with another contest! Look at the contest threads and see what you missed. Hope your absence wasn't for health or other unpleasant reasons...

Saw a bit of the world traveller thread while I was catching up. It's awesome. Will definitely check out the contest. Absence was self-imposed to try to thin the collection down.

Wow those are truly some creative and unique looking combinations! Maybe a description of hands, dials, crystals, inserts to go along with the images?
