Orient FEM7E001B, Seiko Neo Monster dial and hands. Lume pic Although the Neo Monster lume is not as strong as a regular Monster, it's still superior compared to the Orient dial. Unfortunately the inner rotating bezel does not function due to the raised indices of the Neo Monster dial. I think I can live with that...

Thanks!
I may actually pull it apart and see if I can get the inner bezel to work.
I just read another thread about Orient movements. They have 2 little screws which attach the movement to a plastic ring. I wasn't sure what these were for - only that the dial didn't come off without me removing them. I did put them back in, but now, I'm wondering if I had screwed them in deeper would the inner bezel rotate?
Will try tonight after work.

Update:
The inner rotating bezel now functions after tightening both of the "spacer" screws.
Yay!

Great mod, is it a Seiko dial (28.5mm) onto an Orient movement using the Orient hands and case?

Great mod, is it a Seiko dial (28.5mm) onto an Orient movement using the Orient hands and case? Seiko dial (28.5mm) with Seiko hands - Orient hands are the same size also; I just didn't like the Orient hands - using the Orient case. FYI, the Orient movement dial feet position matches at 3 o'clock.

That looks great! I did a similar mod recently, my dial was a VX dial from Yobokies and some Dagaz hands Attachments:

Did you have any issues with the inner bezel - as I did? Well my dial feet were for a. 3.45/4 o'clock type dial so I cut them off and used dial dots to fix it on the movement ring. The dial is flat without raised indices so my inner bezel just worked as it did before. I was a bit limited finding a mod dial that had a day and date window as I didn't want the 2 o'clock day change button to be redundant like it would be with a date only or no day or date dial.

I successfully replaced center wheel in an Orient with one from a 7005.
